Las Vegas is the biggest market in the valley and the one with the widest range of houses. A 1970s ranch off Charleston, a two-story stucco tract in Centennial Hills, and a custom home in The Lakes need three different layouts, and I quote each one by the foot, not by a package name.
What Las Vegas roofs need
Most of the city is tile roof and stucco. Tile means no fascia board to clip to on a lot of houses, so we use shingle-and-tile clips that ride the first course and never pierce anything. Stucco means the lights cannot be nailed or stapled, and we do not want to anyway. Every run is cut to your roofline on site, so the line goes around the peak instead of stopping short of it.
Where in the city
We take jobs anywhere inside the City of Las Vegas and the unincorporated county pockets around it: Centennial Hills, Summerlin South, The Lakes, Peccole Ranch, Desert Shores, Downtown and the older neighborhoods east of the Strip, and out to Sunrise Manor. Summerlin and Spring Valley have their own pages because the houses there are different enough to deserve one.
Timing in Las Vegas
The valley does not get real cold until December, which is why installs start October 20 here. The crowd rush is the two weeks before Thanksgiving. Book by the end of October and you pick your install date. Book in mid-November and you take what is left.
Who shows up
Me. I design the layout from your photos, I am at the install, and I answer the phone when a bulb goes out. My name is on the quote. If you want to know who I am before you call, the about page is the honest version.
